Whether it is the small-town feel, reasonable cost of living, or excellent schools, Saline County is widely recognized as an amazing place for kids to grow and thrive. When you add access to high-quality health care from top-notch providers to the growing list, no one can dispute how perfect it is for families. And playing a major role in this thriving community is none other than Central Arkansas Pediatric Clinic in Bryant.
Central Arkansas Pediatric Clinic (CAPC) was founded in 1989 by Dr. R. Allan Stanford. Dr. Adele Holmes soon joined him as the practice (and Saline County) experienced unprecedented growth. The practice continued to expand its offerings and services, and in turn added seven pediatricians and four nurse practitioners to the provider roster.
The current providers are Dr. David Weed, Dr. Robbie Rhodes, Dr. Misty Nolen, Dr. Jessica Fox, Dr. Amanda Roberts, Dr. Meghan Repp, and Dr. Mindy Pomtree.
The practice has several nurse practitioners: Amber McGuire, Becca White, Krista Santiago, and Brittani Moffett. Their contributions have extended the practice’s abilities to provide excellent care to children in Central Arkansas.
Conveniently located between Benton and Bryant off Springhill Road just off Interstate 30, CAPC provides a full range of pediatric medical services including routine well-child exams, immunizations, sick visits, and parent education and support.
CAPC pediatricians proudly serve the largest pediatric clinic in Saline County and try to uphold the vision of Dr. Stanford and Dr. Holmes.
“CAPC’s mission is to provide top-quality medical services, including sick and well-childcare, to our patients in a friendly and caring atmosphere. Each of the pediatricians is board-certified and stays up to date with the latest medical advancements toprovide the highest standard of care. They all work collaboratively with specialists when needed, so your child’s health needs are always addressed holistically.”
“CAPC provides medical care for patients all the way from newborns through age 18 and also continues to see newborns at Baptist Hospital in Little Rock.”
Making it easy for working parents to have their sick kids seen at the end of the day is a priority for CAPC. To realize this, the practice offers extended office hours and last-minute sick visits. The clinic’s regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m., and Saturday 8:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. for same-day sick appointments.
CAPC also offers the only After-Hours Pediatric Clinic in Saline County, where established patients over six months of age can walk-in for acute care sick visits from 3:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday. “CAPC parents have really appreciated this option to be seen after school and work.” And offering these additional time options is something the physicians are very proud of. Many of the pediatricians are working parents themselves and know how hard it can be to make traditional appointment times work when your child is sick.
When it comes to setting their clinic apart from other providers in the area, CAPC has placed a lot of attention on the details and keeping their patients top-of-mind at every turn. “What sets our clinic apart are the exceptional providers and staff who go above and beyond to care for children of our community every day.”
“Many of our staff members have worked here for over 20 years! Whether it’s a kind greeting from the receptionists up front or the prompt and friendly services our nurses and billing staff provide, CAPC has cultivated a team that is organized, efficient, and caring at every level.”
Thoughtful safety measures keep all their patients as safe as possible. All of the pediatricians’ favorite part about the clinic is that there is a separate well-child clinic on the bottom floor of the building and the larger sick clinic on the 2nd floor with separate waiting rooms. This minimizes exposure to illnesses when healthy kids come in for their checkups!
When it comes to participating in life outside of the clinic walls, the CAPC team is a staple in the Saline County community. The clinic supports several organizations individually and collectively, which includes the Boys and Girls Club of Saline County as well as numerous local sports teams. The physicians really enjoy partnering with local organizations that prioritize Saline County youth.
As the kids of Saline County look to thrive in 2025, their future is bright thanks to the clinicians and staff of Central Arkansas Pediatric Clinic. It is a sure bet that the clinic will continue to evolve along with the Benton and Bryant communities, maintaining a safe place to receive top-notch care from trusted, local providers.
At Central Arkansas Pediatric, meeting children’s healthcare needs is more than a chosen profession, it’s a calling!
